MYOSKELETAL THERAPY
Relieves chronic pain through assisted stretching Releases trapped nerves from tight muscles, joints and ligaments. Enhances athletic performance through hands-on proprioceptive training.
CUPPING
Cupping creates a mild suction and can loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, relieve back and neck pains, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines, rheumatism. The cups are usually made of glass or plastic.
NormaTec
Uses full-length leg, arm, or hip compression attachments to rejuvenate muscle tissue, reduces tightness and soreness and speed recovery. It is used in most professional, Olympic and college training rooms. Time: 10-30 minutes.
MEI MONTGOMERY
Mei (like the month) is a LMT and a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. As a Certified Personal Trainer and avid weightlifter Mei understands that injuries as simple as they may be can be very humbling and if left unattended, debilitating.
During a session Mei may combine a number of modalities like Neuromuscular technique, cupping therapy, compression therapy, PNF, Kinesiology taping or IASM. Mei’s goals for her clients is to restore function, relieve pain, rebalance and reeducate the body all while stimulating the body’s natural painkillers and “feel good” hormones.
