Some Things You Should Know
- We are located within Frog's, Mission Valley, a
full service
athletic club in San
Diego.
- All guests have use of the steamroom,
sauna, shower and individual lockers. Please shower just prior
to receiving your treatment.
- We provide robes, towels and locker room amenities.
- Gratuity is your option. We do not
automatically add it to your charges, as we believe it is a
"reward" based on your satisfaction.
- When visiting Massage Extraordinaire,
you are welcome to ask for the same massage therapist or a
"different pair of hands." Each massage therapist has
a unique touch and different techniques.
- What to wear: For most massages, please
undress completely, and then put on a robe or a towel. Our
intent is for you to be truly relaxed and never embarrassed or
uncomfortable.
- You are responsible for your personal
belongings.
- For that special event - be it bridal
parties, family reunions or friendship get-togethers - special
rates are available for 3 or more. Individual scheduled services
are to be completed the same day.
- Top of the line retail products are available for purchase as gifts
or for your own personal use.

Aromatherapy Massage Treatment
Rebalance, revitalize and relax with
aromatherapy. Aromatic formulas are unique blends of essential oils
derived from aromatic plants for therapeutic purposes. You may
select a formula for the following needs:
- Detoxification
- Stress relief
- Muscular pain relief
Time: 60 minutes / 90 minutes
You may precede your massage treatments with
a soothing steam or sauna to open your pores and make your body more
receptive to the oils. If you are new to the spa environment and are

Pregnancy Massage
Many pregnant women receive massages on a
weekly basis to ease aches and pains in their hips & lower back.
Massage is also beneficial for reducing swelling, increasing
circulation, and teaching the woman how to relax. Many pregnant
women become self-conscious about their bodies. Massage is a way of
pampering both the mind and body. We provide a special massage pad
made specifically for the pregnant woman so she can relax
comfortably during her massage.

Hydro Active Mineral Salt Scrubs
Mineral rich sea salt combined with dried
seaweed, aromatic oils and fruit enzymes deeply cleanse, exfoliate
and invigorate the skin. This treatment includes dry body brushing,
vigorous massage, buffing cloth. To avoid a stinging sensation we
recommend that you not shave on the day of your salt scrub
treatment.

Enzymatic Seaweed Wrap
Detoxifies and exfoliates the body with a
warm purifying seaweed and mineral poultice, specially wrapped. It's
then combined with aromatic botanical extracts and fruit. Enzymes

A treat for yourself or someone special,
gift certificates are available for all services, and may be charged
by phone or purchased in person. We accept MasterCard/Visa, personal
checks or cash. Our gift certificates are transferable to another
person. They are valid for 6 months and are not refundable.

Spa Packages
Spa packages are a combination of massage
and various body treatments. All packages must be prepaid
to secure appointments. We ask that these be arranged at least 72
hours in advance. The spa packages are priced to be completed in one
visit. Spa packages do not apply to retail products.

Take a eucalyptus steam or a soothing sauna before receiving a
hydoactive salt scrub. Then enjoy your choice of a enzymatic seaweed wrap,
or an, aloe or paraffin treatment or a soothing relaxing one hour massage.

Cancellations/ No Shows
Thank you for understanding that we make a living
by reserving time for our clients. We make every effort to schedule enough
time for each appointment so as to be on time
for yours. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at
least 6 hours notice. Therapeutic massages can also be scheduled outside the health
club by calling (619) 295-3516.
